Dishwashers

What to look for in a dishwasher

Half load programs — this feature conserves water and power, enabling you to wash small loads using only one basket or a half load per wash.

The main benefit of Dish Drawers, which is being able to run one at a time, has now been mastered by many other dishwasher designs. Look out for those with a half load cycle. As a Dishwasher is generally accessed more times in a day than an oven, a good option is to mount it to an ergonomic height, which is less strain on the lower back than rummaging through a drawer. Ensure that the internal liner of your dishwasher is stainless steel, so as to avoid staining!

Quiet Running: extra insulation in the form of a dense noise suppressant material, plus the addition of an Insulwool blanket, prevents noise escaping.

Self-cleaning Filters: three-way microfilter filters simply clean themselves during the wash cycle ensuring that food scraps are eliminated and that only clean water gets through — leaving your dishes squeaky-clean.

Rapid wash program: when dishes are not very soiled the rapid wash program allows you to wash larger loads quickly and economically.

Varied washing and temperature programs: wash programs, ranging from economy to intensive cycles, combined with variable water temperatures, enable you to wash everything from the most intensive wash load through to delicate crystal.

Adjustable top basket: an adjustable upper basket provides space when needed to fit larger pots and pans into the lower basket.

Integratable door: allows you to fit a door to the front of the dishwasher which matches the kitchen cabinet doors Fully Integrated dishwashers are the quietest due to the double layer of doors and the most aesthetically pleaseing as a door can be added to integrate with the rest of the cabinets.

Aquastop safety system: safety value system built into the dishwashers hoses prevents flooding.
